“Sigh Of Relief”
Have you ever had the feeling of being thankful from something that was once an obstacle to you?
Me, I just had it. As nursing students, when we hear the word “duty”, one of the first things that come in our minds is “toxic”, or in other words, too much hard work is needed. Every duty is treated as an obstacle to be triumph over.
But as I went over the past duties that I had, I realized that, a duty should not be treated as an obstacle. Instead, it should be treated as an inspiration, fun and unforgettable memory, as well as an experience.
As you leave the place where you had your duty as a student nurse, you’ll feel somewhere in your heart, the relief and the feeling that one day, you’ll be missing the experience and the opportunity to help and care for other people. You will say to yourself, “whew, I will probably miss this place”.
How about now? Are you still treating it as an obstacle, or the other way around? Come to think of it.
